when we have minimal time or, rather, minimal desire to do our nightly routine, a good sleeping mask can save us from more than one night like this. and if, in addition, this sleeping mask is super complete and fights the signs of the passing of time, this alternative can be your greatest ally.
what are sleeping masks?
sleeping masks, as the name suggests, are masks that are designed to be applied at night and work while you sleep. it is a concept brought from asian routines whose key is that it is not absorbed too quickly, and, above all, that it is not too annoying and uncomfortable and does not stain the sheets.
sleeping masks are based on a release of active ingredients and activity during the night, so they will always be focused on moisturising, nourishing and, in some cases, an additional function, such as anti-ageing.
what is it about avène dermabsolu mask?
this mask is based on 3 main ingredients that will achieve a smoother, revitalised, and nourished skin:
- Provitamin c in the form of ascorbyl glucoside, which will help us in the synthesis of collagen and therefore in a greater firmness.
- Sytenol, the brand name of our beloved bakuchiol, the vegetable alternative to retinol. studies show that it acts on the same receptors as retinol and generates an anti-wrinkle, depigmenting and even anti-acne action.
- Glycoleol, a powerful nourishing ingredient.
it also contains niacinamide, a super-complete active ingredient whose antioxidant and anti-ageing function reinforces the previous ingredients and, like all the brand’s products, thermal spring water.
this sleeping mask is formulated as an emulsion that, by applying a generous layer, remains on the surface of the skin, so it does not absorb quickly and can therefore act overnight.
what does dermoabsolu by avène do?
the first and most important thing we value highly at inside cosmetics: it has efficacy studies. few can boast of this. in addition, all the results are shown on the packaging, which provides us with a lot of information.
studies on the mask, after 10 minutes of use, carried out on 74 women, have shown that:
- redensifies the skin according to 2 out of 3 women.
- lighten the skin according to 2 out of 3 women.
- nourish the skin according to 8 out of 10 women.
what is valuable about this study is that it was carried out on 74 women, and the effect of the product was evaluated only 10 minutes after application. imagine what it can do all night long.
