Squalane & Bakuchiol Sleeping Pack

What is Squalane & Bakuchiol Sleeping Pack and what do we use it for?

A Sleeping pack is nothing more than a mask for night use. It replaces traditional night creams, as these are usually formulated with richer waxes and emollients for extra nourishment. Sleeping packs or night masks do not have to have rich textures, they are usually light emulsions that contain active ingredients that generate a protective film on the skin, allowing the active ingredients to penetrate more effectively.

What assets does it hold?

It is easier to say that it does NOT contain… this mask combines a large number of active ingredients:

• 2% Squalene: emollient naturally present in the hydro-lipid mantle, prevents trans-epidermal water loss.
• Bakuchiol: known as vegetable retinol due to its similar efficacy to retinol. It increases collagen synthesis, having an anti-ageing action by restoring the skin’s elasticity. It also helps improve acne and controls sebum protection. The advantage of this plant-based active ingredient over traditional retinol is that Bakuchiol is non-irritating, making it the perfect anti-ageing active ingredient for sensitive skin.
• 2% Niacinamide or provitamin B3: multifunctional active ingredient par excellence. It moisturises, reduces the appearance of blemishes, controls sebum production, helps fight wrinkles and repairs the skin barrier.
• 0.5% hyaluronic acid: deeply hydrates the skin.
• Fig and pomegranate extracts and oriental fruits: help protect the skin from free radicals that cause premature skin ageing.
• Vitamin C and E derivatives: two vitamins with synergistic action, enhancing antioxidant action.

How to use it?

After cleansing and drying your skin, apply a generous amount of the mask to your face before going to bed.

What is it like?

The texture of this mask is gel-like, very watery, practically turning into water when applied to the skin. When you handle the product with the spatula that comes with the mask, you can immediately see the gel-like texture.

In addition, due to its texturizing agent, it has a very visual memory effect. You will see how after taking the product and after only a few seconds, the product recovers its original shape, becoming smooth and homogeneous.

 From the beginning I really liked this mask, the sensation on the skin is brutal, and it provides an almost instantaneous moisturising and calming sensation. I think the texture is spectacular, fun, and unique. Not only is it loaded with active ingredients, but they have even taken care of the presentation. The packaging is very nice and the fact that it comes with a spatula really helps to keep the product in perfect condition and is much more hygienic.

For my skin type (oily dehydrated) I think it is an ideal product. As it is a gel, it is very moisturising and not greasy at all.
