Singuladerm Xpert SOS

Singuladerm Xpert SOS – Antiageing with peptides

More and more brands are using peptides as a star active ingredient, as you can find a multitude of them with different functions.

One of the star peptides is Argireline, a peptide with a botox-like function to reduce wrinkles. Among the brands that have resorted to this peptide, Singuladerm Xpert SOS is one of them.

Let us take a closer look.

What are peptides?

Peptides are the union of different amino acids by means of peptide bonds. There are numerous peptides that are involved in various biochemical processes in our body and in our cells, including those in our skin.

That is why peptides are used continuously in cosmetics, as there is a lot of diversity and therefore many functions so that our products can provide us with the effectiveness we are looking for.

Argireline. The peptide that is all the rage

Argireline is the brand name of a solution of the peptide Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, marketed by Lubrizol. This peptide, as its name suggests, is a hexapeptide that has built its reputation on being effective against wrinkles.

Specifically, this peptide is an analogue of the N-terminal end of SNAP-25, thus preventing it from binding to the SNARE complex. But what does this mean? Let us place ourselves biologically at a nerve-motor junction, i.e. where information is transmitted from the nervous system to the muscle for it to exert a movement.

This junction is mediated by acetylcholine, which binds and enables the neuro-motor connection. The SNARE complex facilitates the release of acetylcholine. If we prevent the release of acetylcholine, this neuromotor transmission will not take place.

This peptide acts in the same step as the famous botulinum toxin, although the mechanism of action is somewhat different. With botulinum toxin we manage to paralyse this junction and so we will not be able to contract certain muscles, and, therefore, we will not generate those expression wrinkles that become more and more marked as the years go by.

Argireline has been shown in in vivo studies to visibly reduce wrinkles, making it a great ally against cosmetics that prevent the signs of ageing.

Singuladerm Xpert SOS What is in it?

Singuladerm joins the peptide trend with its Xpert S.O.S., an intensive treatment in the form of a serum in special ampoules, easily identifiable to the brand.

Our beloved Argireline is dosed at 20%, which is sufficient as in vivo studies by the supplier of the active ingredient tell us that it is effective at 5%.

It also contains another peptide called Neoclair Pro™, from the manufacturer Lipotrue, with antioxidant and anti-pollution activity. It acts by decreasing the AHR receptor, which is involved in oxidative stress processes, and increases NRF2, which is involved in the creation of oxidative stress aides. This peptide, together with Acetyl- tetrapeptide 2 inci has a spot-fighting and brightening effect.

This combination makes a rounded product for an anti-ageing effect, which has been shown to visibly reduce wrinkles by up to -23% after 7 days.

What is Xpert SOS singuladerm like?

The product is peculiar, at least its packaging makes it very recognisable. The product is a cremigel-type solution, which leaves an immediate moisturising sensation without a greasy effect. This cremigel is presented in characteristic ampoules that can be used for 1 week (1 application per day).

A plastic applicator is included in the package for easy application.

What does Xpert SOS contain?

It is a simple formula, with very few ingredients, including peptides and all those that facilitate the sensorial.

Review @inside_cosmetics. Micaela’s opinion

At first, I was a little reluctant to try this product, because when I am saturated by networks with something and it appears continuously in all the dermo-cosmetics accounts, they do not make me want to try it, quite the opposite.

That is why, even though the brand sent it to us some time ago, it was abandoned in a drawer. But after formulating a product with argireline and flipping out with the results, I dared to rescue it and put it to the test.

The first use, as I went with a magnifying glass in hand and with my super critical character, was not too pleasant, as it smells a lot, it is too perfumed, so much so that I considered writing to the brand to ask for the unscented version.

But after a few uses I started to hallucinate, where is my angry wrinkle? And to prove it to you, a photo in which they are only 2 weeks apart, maybe less. That wrinkle that was asking for a botox shot, as I do not mind having joy wrinkles, but one that shows people how angry I can get during the day… no thanks.

I cannot be happier; I recommend it to all those who ask me for that miracle product because you see my wrinkles I don’t like. Now I can recommend a product, and this is it. Singuladerm, we need it with a considerable drop in perfume.
