cosmetics disasters.

Cosmetics Disasters

I am going to start this article with a question, when you start a routine, are you one of those who look at how to use the product and read how to apply it, times… or on the contrary after so many cosmetics that we throw on our face you assume how to apply it?

Today we are going to talk about this because it is VERY important to follow to the letter the instructions of the laboratory because if not some cosmetic disasters can happen… that we are going to tell you below.

DISASTER 1: WHY DOESN’T IT WORK FOR ME?

The first “disaster” is not being consistent in the routine, and then we will not have achieved what we were looking for with that cosmetic. For example, if we are treating a skin with an acne outbreak, the skin must have specific care such as a lot of cleansing in the morning and at night, specific treatment… If we do not cleanse thoroughly a couple of times a day and we are not consistent with the treatment, we will not see the results we expect, not because the product is bad or does not work well, but because we are not really using the product as we have been advised.

DISASTER 2: NOT USING SUNSCREEN

Another disaster, and this one is more important, is not using sunscreen, especially after using retinol, hydroxy acids or after a peel. In these cases, our skin is much more sensitized than normal, and the sun can irritate us, in addition, if we do not use sunscreen we can get spots and in many cases, the skin looks more aged by the spots than by wrinkles.

DISASTER 3: MIXING PRODUCTS

It is very important that we let ourselves be advised by a specialist because many times we read for example that vitamin C is perfect to give luminosity to the face and at the same time that retinol makes a renewal of the skin reducing wrinkles, so if we mix them, it would be perfect, right? Well, no, they are two ingredients that (in the vast majority of cases) must be used separately because they will irritate the skin together, that is, if we use retinol at night, apply vitamin C in the morning, instead of applying them at the same time of the routine.

DISASTER 4: OVERDOING IT WITH EXPOSURE TIMES

This is the reason why I decided to make this post. There are many products that have an application time and then have to be removed, it is very typical in masks and intensive treatments. Well, recently, I put one of these products on my skin and you have to remove it after 10 minutes. Well, I started to do things and I forgot I had it on and when I went to remove it, all the skin on my face was irritated.

I do not know if the photo shows it well because I applied a cream to soothe my skin, but it was very red and it literally burned. That’s why it is so important to pay attention to the exposure times of each product.

Have you ever had a little disaster like this happen to you? Or if not, any similar ones? Leave it in the comments and we will talk about it ????
