The active ingredients include:

• Hyaluronic acid and hyaluronic acid salt: research has shown that hyaluronic acid salt penetrates deeper than hyaluronic acid itself. By combining the two, we manage to provide hydration and seal in water so that we do not dehydrate.
• Sea Whip Extract: a coral reef dweller, known for its skin-soothing properties.
• Ceramides EOP, NP y AP: also known as Ceramides I, III and IV. As we age, the production of ceramides decreases by 50-70%. In addition, various skin problems can accelerate this decrease. Atopic skin is deficient in ceramide III and IV, psoriatic skin is deficient in ceramides I, III and IV, or skin suffering from acne is deficient in ceramide I. This complex of ceramides, cholesterol and phytosphingosine helps repair the barrier, thus preventing transepidermal water loss.
• Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract: is licorice root extract, has been used for centuries to treat inflammation, with antioxidant properties, which help soothe and reduce the redness of oily skin. The active ingredient in the root contains glycyrrhizin and converts to glycyrrhetic acid upon contact with our hydrolipidic film.
• Epilobium Angustifolium Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract: Rosebay extract inhibits 5α-reductase activity, decreasing sebum production and accumulation. It also has soothing properties helping to reduce redness caused by external agents such as UV radiation.
  
• Chrysanthemum Parthenium Flower Extract: is an extract of Matricaria. It is commonly used for aftershave lotions. It helps reduce razor burn by helping to repair the lipid barrier.
• Aminoacid complex (Sodium Cocoyl Amino Acids & Sarcosine & Potassium Aspartate & Magnesium Aspartate): produces a soothing sensation on stressed skin: calms redness caused by UVA and UVB radiation (solar stress). Relieves irritation caused by AHA (chemical stress). Reduces shaving irritation (mechanical stress).
• Ubiquinone: or Coenzyme Q10. A powerful antioxidant that prevents and controls oxidative stress caused by UV radiation that damages cells and causes premature photoaging.

I have been using it for about three weeks now and the change has been radical. My skin is quite reactive, and I always suffer from a little redness in the cheek area when applying the different products in my routine. When I started using this serum it was no exception, and I suffered from the same redness. After continued use (AM and PM), I began to notice improvement in the redness and itching or discomfort I used to suffer.

Since I have oily skin, I cannot overuse products in my routine, as I end up having shine or pimples. By having ceramides, I get the right amount of lipids that my skin needs, and, above all, the light texture and hyaluronic acid provide the hydration that my skin needs.

Analysing the formula, you realize that it has practically everything: (Antioxidants, moisturizers, soothing, barrier repairers…) and that is why I use it both during the day before sunscreen and at night, often as the last step of my routine if I have very oily skin.

Without a doubt, when you combine this product with the rest of the Calm range, you notice a brutal improvement in the skin. When you add the cleanser, toner and in some situations the cream. It is a very powerful calming routine.
