Eyebrows have always accompanied fashions and different trends in make-up, as we well know that they are the framework of the look. A well or badly done eyebrow modifies our face and elevates (or declines) our gestures.
And it is for this reason that it is important, that, independently of how much we want to adapt to the fashion of the moment, the eyebrows shine filled, with form (be or not ours natural) and well combed.
The story:
Eyebrows have been one of the parts of the face that has suffered the most changes over the decades. At the beginning of the 20th century, the tendency was to have very thin eyebrows (almost non-existent), short and totally arched. Luckily, this gradually evolved into a longer eyebrow, then a shorter one, and finally, from 1990 onwards, a thicker one, respecting more the primitive shape of the eyebrow.
Joining the 2000 self love movement and accepting the different types of beauty that we find in society, the eyebrows are made up, strong, thick, and powerful. Always adapting to their natural shape. We can see it in series, catwalks and fashion/beauty magazines, Lily Collins is a great example of this.
BEAUTY TIPS FOR PERFECT EYEBROWS
And how do we take care of them so that the little hairs grow strong and healthy? How do we make the eyebrow look powerful so that our gaze is awakened and raised? Here we go:
Hygiene and hydration:
For beautiful eyebrows, the first thing we have to do is remove dirt or makeup with a gentle cleanser and without making strong friction on them. Then remember to apply your moisturizing treatment on them too to avoid dryness.
If you have weak hair or low density, you can encourage its growth with one of the products available on the market for its growth. They are highly effective and in one or two months, you will see your eyebrows more crowded and with most of their bald patches recovered. The negative point of this type of product is that the effect is not usually maintained over time, returning the eyebrow to its initial state sometime after stopping using it.
Waxing:
In terms of depilation, less is more, start by eliminating the hairs around your eyebrow, and try to leave those that make up the structure of the eyebrow. When in doubt, remember that we avoid curves so imagining a straight line from point to point can help you to know which hairs are outside the area.
If you do not see it clearly, you can also make up first and then remove the remaining hairs.
I recommend you do it with tweezers or thread, never with wax to avoid sagging or damaging the area.
Makeup:
Choose the product with which you feel more comfortable. Pencil, gel, ointment, powder … the most important thing is that the colour you choose is dull and ash (except in natural redheads). Our eyebrows are closer in shade to dark grey than to warm brown and the make-up will integrate much better in our face if we avoid the warm reddish or brownish tones (so fashionable at the end of the century and that still remain in some brands today).
You should always comb your eyebrows in the direction of the temple, and then make them up in small hairlike lines following the natural direction of these to fill in the bald spots. Remember, in the eyebrows, always less is more. If you naturally have thin eyebrows, try not to distort them too much so as not to lose naturalness.
Finally, we can apply fixing gel so that they do not move throughout the day.
Tell me in comments that you have found these tips and if you already made up before your eyebrows, I would love to read you.
